The Design

We named this cushion after the Arabic for rose for its beautiful floral patterns.
Backed with either heavy linen or velvet, this is a stunning work of art that you will love forever.
This is a traditional design that you can find in almost every house in Syria, but especially in the south. All of our patterns pay homage to ancient Syrian tradition.

The Impact

All profit from sales is used to employ more women and to continue Sabbara’s work on female empowerment. Sabbara was established inside Syria in 2011 in response to the escalating war and its devastating consequences for families all over the country. Our aim is to train women in traditional skills, create a sustainable infrastructure for production, and develop an international market.
